Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney for a fully remote position based in Memphis, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing claims, managing litigation queues, and gaining trial experience without billable hour requirements.

The ideal applicant will have a Juris Doctorate and be admitted to the Tennessee Bar, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups. Additional licenses in other states are a plus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and admittance to Tennessee Bar are required.
• Additional licenses in other states are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Appear in court as needed.
• Review new claims for compliance.
• Sign off on pleadings for court filings.
• Draft motions and responses to contested matters.
• Argue contested motions and conduct trials and arbitrations.
• Manage communication with opposing counsel.
• Prepare and respond to discovery or oversee counterclaims.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Experience with Collection Master or similar case management systems

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well with diverse groups and court officials

Independent decision-making and detail-oriented

Education

Juris Doctorate
