Job summary

RMWBH PC in Frisco, TX is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the Property Owners Association department. You will conduct legal research, draft documents, review pleadings, and attend hearings, mediations, depositions and trials under supervision.

The requirements include a Juris Doctorate, Texas license, and 2 years in real estate litigation or POA matters. Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, ethical conduct, and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate litigation, property owners association law, deed restriction, and/or lien enforcement matters is preferred.
• Proficiency in both litigation and transactional legal work is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/review pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. relating to the firm’s clients in both deed restriction enforcement and collection litigation, counseling and transactional matters as assigned;
• Oversee and manage high volume pre-litigation and litigation docket;
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Client interaction/development.
• Help coordinate workflow and supervise paralegals.
• As needed, work with POA Shareholders and/or Associate attorneys and staff in other firm offices.
