Rausch Sturm LLP seeks an experienced attorney to develop office and state practice in North Carolina and oversee collection litigation across the state. The role requires substantial courtroom experience in creditors’ rights and consumer laws, plus strong drafting, research, and administrative skills.

• Must have bar admission in North Carolina.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize high volumes of information.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Attorney will assist in developing office and state practice and overseeing collection litigation for the states.
• Administrative responsibilities will include preparing forms and developing processes.
• Full litigation responsibilities including review of correspondence, determining suit appropriateness, review/approval of pleadings, motions and discovery, and attending hearings and trials in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledgeable in post-judgment remedies including attachment and garnishment.
• Manage high-volume docket of civil litigation cases in debt-collection through all phases of litigation from commencement through post-judgment actions.
