Henderson Scott US is seeking a fully remote attorney licensed to practice in Michigan. This 40-hour-per-week role requires MI residency and MI bar admission.

There are no billable hours, and you will handle a broad range of consumer-protection matters, including transactional and civil litigation, and advocate for clients in court. Qualificações

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in MI (multi-state admission would be amazing).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in MI.
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law
