Job summary

Haven Property Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a full-time hybrid role in the Greater Seattle Area. You will support Property Managers with tenant communication, leasing, inspections, and coordinating maintenance, while occasionally working remotely and at properties as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and knowledge of local laws, with compensation including a $3,750 monthly salary plus a $250 vehicle/gas stipend for monthly driving.

Qualifications

• Property management experience including tenant relations, inspections, lease administration, and coordinating maintenance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with technology tools used in property management.
• Understanding of local property management laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Real estate or property management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and remote coordination of tenant relations, inquiries, and maintenance requests.
• Manage listings, photos, and leasing processes in Appfolio; generate occupancy reports.
• Schedule showings and maintain Appfolio workflow for property management team.
• Review applications, collect documents, and screen applicants.
• Prepare lease documents and collect deposits; orient new tenants to rules and amenities.
• Perform move-in/move-out inspections and coordinate turn tasks and notices.
• Communicate with tenants to promote lease renewals and timely payments.
