Job summary

Cupertino Electric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - O&M in Urbandale, IA. This hybrid/remote role focuses on coordinating between the field team and project staff, supporting the Project Manager in change orders, submittals, and tracking project activities.

The position emphasizes collaboration with vendors, cost control, and on-time delivery across energy projects. Eligible for an annual bonus and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Education and experience aligned with construction management, project coordination, or similar roles.
• Experience with electrical construction, renewables, or civil/MEP projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with change orders, submittals, and project documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and attend team meetings with Project Engineers and Coordinators.
• Identify cost and schedule impacts from RFIs, submittals, and design changes.
• Price change orders and obtain PM review/approval in a timely manner.
• Develop and manage close out documents as the project progresses.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with third parties and track open items.
• Maintain strong partnerships with vendors and subcontractors; track material releases.
