Job summary

NCR Eduservices is seeking an Assistant Professor in Business Management to work remotely. The role emphasizes grading, assessment, and providing detailed feedback to students. A PhD in Business Management or Business Communication is mandatory, with preference for experience in higher education and familiarity with Canvas LMS.

Responsibilities include evaluating assignments, applying rubrics, and recording outcomes in the LMS, while meeting tight deadlines across a 6-day work week in IST hours.

Qualifications

• PhD in Business Management or Business Communication is mandatory.
• Strong subject-matter knowledge in Business Management or Business Communication.
• Knowledge of academic assessment principles and the ability to interpret and apply grading rubrics accurately.
• Prior experience in grading, evaluating academic assignments, teaching, research supervision, or higher education is preferred.
• LMS experience with Canvas LMS is preferred.
• Strong written English and the ability to provide professional, clear written feedback.
• Attention to detail, impartiality, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple assignments and grading workloads.
• Familiarity with plagiarism-detection tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and grade student assignments in Business Management and/or Business Communication using rubrics.
• Apply grading rubrics consistently and objectively, ensuring alignment with outcomes.
• Complete grading and submit results within 3 calendar days of receiving each assignment.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback that explains the basis for the grade.
• Record grades in the Learning Management System as required.
• Manage grading volumes, track deadlines, and communicate potential delays.
