Job summary

Pennrose seeks an Asset Manager to oversee the financial, operational, physical, and compliance performance of an affordable multifamily portfolio. You will drive property-level business plans, evaluate results, and protect long-term asset value as Pennrose’s ownership representative.

The role reports to the Vice President of Asset Management and requires regular travel to properties and partner offices, with work either in the Philadelphia office or remotely from an approved location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years in multifamily real estate, asset management, or related financial roles.
• Affordable housing experience and familiarity with LIHTC or HUD programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own financial, operational, physical, and compliance performance of an assigned portfolio.
• Develop and execute property-level business plans with targets and risks.
• Provide concise reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Monitor risks, ensure timely escalation and resolution.
• Coordinate with Property Management, Finance, Compliance, and external partners.
