Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC is seeking a skilled ASL Interpreter to provide high-quality interpretation across education, medical, legal, and community settings. The role requires strong ASL-English fluency, confidentiality, and compliance with RID standards.

The position is part-time, hourly, and remote with potential on-site assignments in the United States. A Bachelor’s degree in ASL or related field is preferred, and RID/BEI/CDI certifications are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional ASL interpreting experience in education, medical, community, or legal.
• Bachelor’s Degree in ASL, Linguistics, Deaf Studies, or related field preferred.
• Must hold RID, BEI, CDI certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL-to-English and English-to-ASL interpretation for one-on-one, group, and virtual/in-person settings.
• Facilitate communication across education, healthcare, legal, and community settings.
• Utilize VRI and other technology for remote interpretation when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Travel to on-site assignments as needed.
