Job summary

ContactLink Solutions LLC is seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter to provide remote interpretation services from a home office.

Responsibilities include interpreting between ASL and spoken English, maintaining licensure requirements, adhering to NAD-RID Code, and completing tasks promptly in a fast-paced environment. Requires RID CDI, ASL and English fluency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and ASL.
• Minimum 1 year interpretation experience preferred.
• RID–CDI certification.
• Understanding of deaf culture and related education/history.
• Proficient computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email, scheduling, internet.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Render concepts accurately per interpretation protocol; avoid omissions/additions.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English accurately.
• Maintain compliance with licensure/certification requirements.
• Adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Complete tasks, projects, and paperwork promptly.
• Learn and implement new technologies quickly.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
• Communicate and report to team leader.
