Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC seeks an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to deliver high-quality interpretation across education, medical, legal, and community settings. The role includes remote work using VRI tools and on-site support as needed, with on-call availability and travel requirements.

Applicants should have 5+ years of ASL interpreting experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and RID/BEI/CDI certifications or equivalents.

Qualifications

• Fluent in ASL and English with strong cultural awareness.
• Experience interpreting across education, medical, legal, or community settings.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL-to-English and English-to-ASL interpretation for individuals and groups.
• Support education, healthcare, legal proceedings, and community services through interpretation.
• Use video remote interpreting (VRI) and other tech for remote assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Collaborate with Deaf individuals and staff to ensure effective communication.
