Job summary

Western Funding Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow our dealer network and increase funded deals. You will represent the company to independent and franchise dealerships, working remotely and on the road. This full-time role reports to Regional Sales Managers and requires travel up to 75%.

Join our External Sales Team to receive new-hire training and work with a supportive group focused on overcoming sales barriers and achieving growth through strong dealer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Present company products to dealership management in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts.
• Follow up on leads and referrals from dealers.
• Develop and grow dealer partnerships within independent and franchise networks.
• Maintain regular communication with dealer partners about programs.
• Train dealers on proper documentation for fast funding of contracts.
