Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Acera Area Sales Director to lead sales initiatives across the West Florida and Alabama region. You will manage a high‑performing team, drive strategic plans, and engage surgeons and OR staff to accelerate product adoption.

This role requires a strong background in medical device or related sales with leadership capabilities. Remote work within the territory is possible with extensive field activity and up to 80% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 5+ years of sales experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales or medical field sales OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 9+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales or medical field sales in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in commercial facilities and federal facilities required.
• Current, valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and cross‑functional partnerships with surgeons and operating room stakeholders to accelerate adoption of Restrata® and related products.
• Develop and execute area business plans to achieve revenue targets while managing expenses.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team through regular communication and field engagement.
• Recruit, select, and build a dynamic sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable.
• Ensure full compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and local and federal laws.
