Job summary

Allegion plc in the United States seeks an Architectural Services Consultant to promote Allegion’s architectural consulting services centered around Division 08 and Division 28, coordinating specification writing, submittal reviews and project management.

You will work with prospective and existing architectural accounts, drive demand creation, and manage projects through their lifecycle in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; 5+ years business development or technical experience
• Ability to develop basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines and deliverables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
• Proficient with business tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and CRM
• Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
• Strong customer service focus
• Architectural, construction, door hardware, or access control experience preferred
• Ideal candidate will live within the Greater Denver, Colorado or Montana markets to effectively call on customers in the territory.

Responsibilities

• High level project management coordinating Division 8 door hardware with Division 28 electronic access control solutions.
• Proactively develop relationships with industry design professionals to increase demand for Allegion’s brands and architectural services.
• Identify target accounts; create and manage account objectives to drive growth.
• Lead architectural education including AIA Lunch and Learns, and industry networking events.
• Procure specification writing opportunities from targeted architectural accounts; lead project review meetings and define scope of work.
• Manage each procured specification project through its lifecycle with updated schedules.
• Identify and track new project opportunities using lead databases and industry relationships.
• Pursue construction leads; request RFAs on projects where Allegion is not yet an approved manufacturer.
• Collaborate with sales team on specification projects and during market reviews.
• Provide mentorship to peers to support team growth.
• Maintain industry/competitor product knowledge and CRM data.
