Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in the United States is seeking an Architectural Job Captain for our Phoenix studio to lead document sets from existing conditions through construction documents, coordinating with consultants and ensuring quality.

You may work independently or with a larger team on complex builds, with client interaction and growth opportunities in a collaborative studio. Remote options include Columbus, OH and Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture or recognized equivalent.
• 5+ years coordinating technical projects, resources, and consultants.
• Experience preparing drawings and documents across varied project types.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to document quality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative studio setting.

Responsibilities

• Advance design concepts into technical documents with the project team.
• Coordinate program, budget, and schedule with Project Managers and Architects.
• Prepare and strategize the framework drawing set across all project phases.
• Research and implement applicable building codes and requirements.
• Provide initial quality-control review of team deliverables.
• Validate materials, finishes, and systems against project and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate consultants through design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Support construction administration via site observations, RFIs, and submittals.
