Environmental Assessment Services, LLC (EAS) seeks an experienced archaeologist for full-time remote work with travel for field projects. The role covers the full spectrum of archaeological investigation, data analysis, and regulatory reporting across the Pacific Northwest and Southwest regions.

The candidate will lead field crews, develop work plans, and prepare NHPA/SHPO reports while collaborating with teams and agencies to ensure compliance and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Master’s degree is required.
  • SOI (Secretary of Interior) Qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all phases of archaeological investigation.
  • Prepare Work Plans and field methodologies; direct field crews.
  • Write archaeological reports and site forms; assess NHPA, NRHP effects.
  • Consult with SHPOs, Tribes, and other stakeholders; coordinate with agencies.
  • Travel 25–50% as needed for field projects.
