Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced early-career Archaeologist for our West region with a focus on the Great Basin. The role supports NEPA/NHPA compliance, involves historical research, fieldwork, and report writing, and offers full or partial remote work with applicants across Nevada, Utah, or California.

You will collaborate with cultural resources specialists, conduct pedestrian surveys, testing, and GPS-based work, and help address complex environmental challenges for diverse public and private sector

Qualifications

• Fieldwork skills including pedestrian surveys and testing.
• Working knowledge NEPA and NHPA requirements.
• Experience with private and public sector clients and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places.
• Assess project effects on resources and develop management recommendations.
• Provide support to address complex regulatory challenges and NEPA/NHPA compliance.
• Collaborate in integrated teams of cultural resources specialists to solve problems.
