ICF is seeking an Archaeologist for the West region with focus on the Great Basin. This role supports NEPA/NHPA compliance, fieldwork, and reporting, with potential for fully or partially remote work across NV, UT, and CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management.
• Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or related field.
• Registered Professional Archaeologist certification.
• Working knowledge NEPA and Section 106 regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with Great Basin Native American tribes and regional contexts.
• Strong fieldwork skills including pedestrian and subsurface survey, testing and evaluation, and GPS.

Responsabilités

• Participate in investigations that identify and evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places, assess project effects on resources, develop resource management recommendations, and provide support to address complex management challenges that require regulatory knowledge.
• Collaborate in integrated teams of cultural resources specialists to solve problems alongside natural resources scientists, planners, regulators, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Support clients to achieve long-term objectives and efficiencies, from programmatic strategies and feasibility studies through implementation, operations, and maintenance
