Job summary

US Foods seeks a seasoned AR professional to lead a team of AR associates, overseeing payment application, reconciliations and dispute resolution. You will coach staff, ensure adherence to GAAP, and maintain accurate AR records across multiple systems from a home-based environment.

The role requires strong training, communication and analytical abilities, with experience handling complex payment scenarios and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in a high-volume AR processing environment.
• Experience training and guiding associates or prior AR or business management experience.
• Must have advanced skills with Windows and Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint & Access.
• Strong training, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to address escalated situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitors workflow and ensures team members record payments to customers’ accounts accurately and according to SLA timelines.
• Provides coaching, guidance and training support for advanced concepts and complex payment issues.
• Provides escalation support to team members with advanced knowledge and customer service guidance.
• Performs complex research and account analysis using multiple systems and banking information.
• Assists management in monitoring internal controls and remediation tasks.
• Provides support to meet daily goals during absences or high workload.
• Compiles, validates and organizes documents for legal or audit purposes.
• Verifies financial integrity across markets including transfers, write-offs and adjustments.
• Ensures GAAP-compliant treatment of AR records across systems.
• Supports special projects and other duties as assigned by AR management.
