Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative II to manage patient billing for assigned payers and perform timely collection follow-ups. You will contact payers by phone, review and forward claims, and document all actions to maintain accurate records.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years in customer service or medical office work, strong computer skills (Word/Excel), and familiarity with patient accounting and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of customer service or medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of patient accounting processes and healthcare terminology.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR duties for assigned payers and contact payers by phone.
• Document billing activity and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Review claims for accuracy and assist audits.
• Follow up on aged accounts and draft appeals as needed.
• Monitor rejections and report trends to leadership.
• Provide professional customer service to patients and third parties.
