Job summary

Access TeleCare LLC, the nation's largest acute specialty telemedicine provider, is seeking an experienced AR Medical Billing Specialist for a 100% remote role. You will manage billing data, claims submissions, and denials across multiple EMRs, collaborating with insurance companies, doctors, and hospital leadership to ensure accurate, timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Biller or similar role (minimum 2 years).
• Solid understanding of Billing, Coding and EMR.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
• Ensure patient information is accurate and up to date.
• Review patient statements and monitor payments.
• Obtain referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Access EMRs to locate demographics and insurance details.
• Call payers to confirm eligibility and denials.
• Investigate and appeal denied claims.
• Manage front-end rejections and back-end denials.
• Help patients develop payment plans.
