Job summary

Access TeleCare, LLC is seeking an AR Medical Billing Specialist for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will manage billing processes, submit claims, verify demographics, and communicate with insurance payers to resolve eligibility and denials.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of medical billing experience and strong knowledge of EMR systems. You will work within the Revenue Cycle Management team to ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and compliance with billing

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical billing or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of billing, coding and EMR.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and billing requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
• Verify patient information for accuracy.
• Review patient statements and referrals.
• Collect and review pre-authorizations.
• Access EMRs for patient demographics and insurance data.
• Call payers to obtain eligibility and denial information.
• Monitor and record patient payments.
• Investigate and appeal denied claims.
• Handle front-end rejections and back-end denials.
