Job summary

Privia Health is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to oversee timely processing of claims and address daily correspondence from physician practices. You will review and appeal denials and follow up on aged claims, coordinating with the RCM team.

In this role you will analyze AR, drive denial management, and work with payer representatives and internal teams to optimize revenue cycle performance. Experience with athenaHealth and NJ payers is preferred; Neurology AR experience is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in a medical billing office or equivalent claims experience.
• Experience with revenue cycle drivers and complex claims resolution.
• Knowledge of NJ payer portals and denials processes.
• HIPAA compliance and security standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR aging and analyze root causes to reduce denials.
• Investigate, resolve, and appeal denials with payers.
• Make independent decisions on claim adjustments and resubmissions.
• Collaborate with Performance, Operations, Sales and care center staff.
• Support large care center go-lives and optimize reimbursement alignment.
