Job summary

KP Aviation, an international supplier of aftermarket aviation components, seeks a Product Line Manager – APU to lead strategy, growth, profitability, and operations for the APU product line. You will manage acquisitions, repairs, inventory optimization, valuations, and market growth while partnering across Repairs, Operations, Technical, and Executive teams.

Remote work is available depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of APU components and aftermarket lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of aviation supply chain operations (RO, asset management).
• Strong financial and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/WMS/CRM systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the APU product line.
• Evaluate opportunities including whole units and repair events.
• Lead asset valuation, acquisition strategy, and buy package analysis.
• Create proformas, pricing models, and forecasts for inventory.
• Oversee APU repair events and return-to-service activity.
• Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence.
• Own sales plan and drive performance to AOP.
• Manage inventory movement and optimization.
• Build supplier and customer relationships.
• Track KPIs like gross margin and turns.
• Identify new opportunities for expansion.
• Drive continuous improvement in asset management.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across departments.
