The position is remote with travel to Idaho Falls, ID as required. Candidates should have an ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree and 6–8+ years of relevant experience, with US citizenship preferred for contract

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience for B.S. or 6+ years for M.S.
• Travel to Idaho Falls, ID as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support novel reactor design.
• Perform mechanical system design and evaluation for high-temperature service.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME BPVC and BPVC standards.
• Oversee fabrication, testing and documentation per design requirements.
• Develop and maintain configuration management for technical baselines.
