Capsule is hiring an Applied AI Engineer for a remote position in the United States. You will work with stakeholders to map critical pharmacy workflows, design and deploy AI agents, and ship production systems that deliver measurable business results.

You will evaluate agent accuracy, monitor performance, and define success metrics while collaborating with a team that values fast, practical solutions and robust architecture.

Competenze

• 3–8 years of software engineering experience.
• Expert in Python or Kotlin.
• Experience building and deploying LLM-based applications or AI agents in production.
• Experience designing evaluations and monitoring for AI systems.
• Regular use of AI coding tools in development workflows.
• Experience developing and maintaining full‑stack applications (frontend + backend).
• Comfortable translating business stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
• Previously contributed to teams owning software components that drive business outcomes.

Mansioni

• Partner with business stakeholders to map workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Design, build and deploy AI agents, APIs, services, and workflows supporting them.
• Build evaluations/backtesting to measure agent accuracy and monitor production performance.
• Define success metrics, track results, and iterate until goals are met.
• Write technical specs for architecture and present to peers for review.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and architecture reviews.
