Job summary

Capsule Corporation is seeking an Applied AI Engineer in the United States to own AI agent projects end to end, from process mapping to production deployment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to automate critical workflows using Python or Kotlin.

The role emphasizes building evaluations, monitoring AI systems, and mentoring peers while contributing to Capsule's mission to streamline pharmacy operations and improve patient care.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Expert in Python or Kotlin.
• Experience building and deploying LLM-based AI agents in production.
• Experience designing evaluations and monitoring for AI systems.
• Regular use of AI coding tools in development workflow.
• Experience developing and maintaining full‑stack applications.

Responsibilities

• Map key workflows with business stakeholders and identify automation opportunities.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and the supporting APIs and services.
• Build evaluations and backtests to measure agent accuracy before launch and monitor production performance.
• Define success metrics, track results, and iterate to meet business goals.
• Write technical specs communicating architectural approaches for peer review.
• Provide mentorship through code reviews and architecture reviews.
