Job summary

ITW Pro Brands is seeking an Applications Engineer – Mold Release for a remote, full-time role. You will provide technical expertise to R&D, Marketing, and Sales, supporting customers and defining solutions for needs and problems.

The Senior Applications Engineer will advance product knowledge, safety, and training initiatives while collaborating across functions to drive the division's strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or related customer-facing role.
• Advanced experience with Salesforce (Administrator preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical application support for customers, translating needs into practical product and process solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, product, and process issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, and customers to develop and commercialize solutions.
• Conduct product trials, evaluate results, and translate findings into recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve product performance and expand applications.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams on product selection and performance.
• Travel up to 30% (including internationally) to customer sites and facilities.
