Shingle & Gibb Automation in Moorestown, NJ is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and Sales Teams. The AE answers field questions, assists with applications and troubleshooting.

The role includes in-office and remote work, field visits to customer sites or warehouses, occasional travel, and delivering technical presentations. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in industrial automation are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
3 years of Industrial Automation design and implementation experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives and sensors.
Siemens platform experience strongly preferred; Industrial sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provides pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and Sales Team.
Responds to field technical questions and troubleshoot requests.
Develops concept solutions for problems with little or no prior solution.
Travels to customer sites or warehouses to troubleshoot or demonstrate options.
Attends supplier trainings and seminars to acquire knowledge of new products and technologies.
Delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for customers and Sales Team.
