Field Applications Engineer – Industrial Automation (Northern New Jersey)

This role combines technical support and customer‑facing interaction. You’ll be part engineer, part consultant, part trusted advisor.

What You’ll Do

• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales support for automation, drives, PLCs, and motion systems
• Assist with proofs of concept and application troubleshooting
• Partner with account managers to help close business
• Conduct customer and internal product training sessions
• Create product demos, BOMs, and solutions for customers
• Minimal overnight travel, but regular in‑person customer visits
