Job summary

Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer Level II to oversee the design, customization, testing, and security of software and hardware applications aligned to NIH/NINR requirements.

The role entails remote work with occasional on-site client meetings in Maryland and collaboration with government officials. Qualified candidates hold a BS in CS or related field, 3+ years in Power Platform/SharePoint, strong Agile SDLC knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of experience designing and deploying Power Platform projects (M365/Power Platform or SharePoint).
Experience with federal government projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of Agile SDLC and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication for government client interactions.
Ability to author and edit system documentation and risk management materials.

Responsibilities

Oversee design, customization, testing, and security of software and hardware applications.
Analyze complex system requirements and design new solutions.
Supervise software configuration management and tooling.
Develop tools/subsystems to support reuse and domain analyses.
Assist Project Manager with cost estimates and scheduling.
Review and refine existing programs to improve performance.
