Providence Shared Services is seeking an Applications Engineer II IS to design, configure, test, implement, and support moderately complex applications in a remote role. You will own components, workflows, or integrations and work with internal and external contacts to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Certifications portfolio dependent; if applicable, certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 4 years of industry-related experience.
• Healthcare, research, consulting, or regulated-industry application experience.
• Experience supporting production services, including monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of moderately complex applications and services.
• Own specific application components, workflows, or integrations and apply judgment within established standards to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Builds and enhances effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders on behalf of Providence St. Joseph Health and Services.
• Actively support and incorporate the mission and core values into daily activities, treating others with respect and demonstrating excellence, justice, and compassion.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, CFA/CA, Human Capital Management, or related field
