Job summary

Providence is seeking an Applications Engineer II IS for a remote role. You will design, configure, test, implement, and support moderately complex applications and services within the enterprise portfolio, owning specific components and integrations.

You will collaborate with internal and external contacts and stakeholders across Providence Shared Services to deliver cross-department projects while embodying our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications are portfolio dependent; certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• 4 years of industry related experience.
• Healthcare, research, consulting, or regulated-industry application experience.
• Experience supporting production services, including monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of moderately complex applications and services.
• Own specific application components, workflows, or integrations.
• Collaborate with PSJHS colleagues and stakeholders to deliver cross-department projects.
• Actively support the mission and core values in daily activities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, CFA/CA, Human Capital Management, or related field
