Job summary

Providence is seeking an Applications Engineer II IS to design, configure, test, implement, and support moderately complex applications and services in a remote capacity. You will own specific components or integrations, work with cross‑functional teams, and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable solutions while aligning with mission and values.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 years of industry experience, with preference for healthcare or regulated industries and production support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4 years of industry experience.
• Certifications are portfolio dependent; certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• 4 years of Industry related experience.
• Healthcare, research, consulting, or regulated‑industry application experience.
• Experience supporting production services, including monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of moderately complex applications.
• Owns specific application components, workflows, or integrations and applies judgment within established standards.
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external contacts, vendors and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, CFA/CA, Human Capital Management, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, CFA/CA, Human Capital Management, or related field.
