Job summary

Legrand North and Central America seeks an Applications Engineer II to provide engineering expertise, project management, and commercial support for Starline busduct products. You will draft offers, address technical issues, and support customers throughout the sales cycle, working remotely from Canonsburg, PA with travel.

You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop solutions, maintain documentation, and assist with training and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power System Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical or power distribution.
• Experience with busbar/busduct systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-level expertise in product knowledge and application.
• Design system layouts for busduct systems based on site surveys and drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD for layout and design tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including catalogs and installation instructions.
• Provide technical and commercial support to sales teams and customers—onsite or remotely.
• Attend customer meetings and deliver presentations on product solutions.
• Draft technical offers for busduct products and verify requirements.
• Travel up to 25% within North America.
