Job summary

Gradian is seeking an Applications Engineer to support selection, design, and technical development of chilled water and heat transfer solutions. This role bridges customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver optimized, cost-effective, and reliable solutions.

Strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and refrigeration with 5+ years in HVAC/chilled water markets is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC or industrial process cooling with chilled water focus.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer specifications and project requirements to propose optimal chilled water and HVAC solutions.
• Develop equipment selections, sizing calculations, and technical proposals.
• Support sales with application guidance and engineering expertise.
