Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to join a team that designs, develops, and maintains secure, scalable software across healthcare platforms.

You will work with senior engineers to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure robust testing and automation. The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong OO programming skills (C#, C++, Java), and familiarity with CI/CD, Agile methods, and modern web services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in object-oriented languages and modern SDLC processes.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable software with senior engineers.
• Maintain codebase and develop new features as business needs evolve.
• Adopt technologies to improve platform performance and customer experience.
• Work independently and seek help when solving complex problems.
• Document technical designs following solution architecture requirements.
• Uphold engineering best practices and automate where possible.
• Troubleshoot issues using existing procedures and adapt as needed.
