Signature Performance is seeking an experienced Software Application Engineer II to develop REST APIs and backend services using .NET technologies for healthcare-focused applications. You will collaborate with clients to understand requirements, design complete user experiences, and support production systems while delivering high-quality software throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Full Stack Development with .NET, EF Core, C#, and React.
• 2+ years SQL Server, stored procedures, views, and data design.
• 2+ years REST API services integration.
• 2+ years HL7/EDI healthcare tech experience.
• 2+ years DVCS (Git/Bitbucket) management.
• 2+ years secure coding practices.
• 2+ years containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
• OAuth authorization/authentication experience.
• Web development in medical payor/provider contexts.
• Ability to translate client requirements into UX.
• Familiarity with Copilot or similar code-review tools.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication.
• Ability to collaborate across levels and build consensus.
• Commitment to integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST API backends for a .NET-based interactive website.
• Prioritize tasks and execute throughout the SDLC.
• Provide support for production systems and issue resolution.
• Design interactions among apps, databases, and interfaces for new initiatives.
• Analyze, design, code, debug, integrate, and test complex software.
• Participate in requirements and design walkthroughs for quality solutions.
• Create and maintain design documentation.
• Proactively identify problems and propose solutions.
• Test complex changes and generate realistic test data.
• Resolve technical issues via debugging and research.
• Collaborate to standardize processes, improve quality, and reduce risk.
• Support senior leadership with planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and controls across work streams.
