Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking an Application Developer to support a multi-year modernization effort for a cloud-native environment. You will develop APIs, UI components, and integration points using C#/.NET, Angular, SQL, and Azure services, following SDLC and Agile practices.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software with minimal defects and clear user stories, while meeting timelines in a remote, long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise applications in an SDLC environment.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Angular front-end.
• Experience with Azure SQL and Cloud deployments.
• Ability to translate requirements into production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of application development, including coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and pull requests
• Develop, enhance, and maintain application components that meet functional and technical requirements
• Develop APIs, system interfaces, and automation workflows
• Translate technical specifications into maintainable, production-ready software
• Develop clear and actionable user stories and maintain a prioritized backlog
• Work within established SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Understand business processes, functional design principles, documentation standards, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Deliver high-quality software with minimal defects
• Collaborate effectively with developers, technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managers
• Manage multiple development assignments and meet established timelines
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
