Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Appian components. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience in Agile/SAFe, and the ability to integrate RESTful APIs while ensuring performance and security.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience, 3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x+), and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance for federal contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x+).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Citizenship required for Federal contracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with Appian AI and AI/ML/LLM integration.
