Job summary

OpenExchange Inc. is hiring an API Integrations Implementation Specialist to own end-to-end integrations for clients, from pre-sales scoping to live events, with remote work in the US.

You will work with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Delivery, and Client Support, guiding client engineers through API modules, authentication, and data flows.

This role requires a technically oriented communicator who translates complex requirements into practical solutions for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical implementation or integration consulting.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and ability to read docs and map payloads.
• Ability to communicate across technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience training and enabling internal teams with written runbooks or plans.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Salesforce for client projects.

Responsibilities

• Join Sales on API integration opportunities and scope requirements.
• Produce scoping documents and solution designs for proposals and engineering.
• Own the integration from contract to live events, managing milestones and dependencies.
• Guide client engineering through OE API modules: event management, registration, reporting, and artifacts.
• Run integration testing and UAT, sign off go-live readiness.
• Support platform migrations, ensuring events keep running during changes.
• Design integrations around real event workflows, not just API capabilities.
• Sit in the Support escalation path as the senior technical resource for integrated clients.
• Diagnose cross-boundary issues and communicate findings clearly to clients.
