Job summary

Ventures Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an APD & Expansion Budget Analyst to monitor expenditures, perform fund analyses, and ensure compliance with budgets and federal requirements. This role reports to management and supports expansion activities in a remote work environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of budget analysis experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and Zoom. Experience with Medicaid/MMIS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in budget analysis, accounting, or financial reporting.
• 3+ years managing multiple priorities and projects.
• 3+ years using project collaboration tools like MS Teams and Zoom.
• 3+ years monitoring contract spending across multiple contracts.
• 3+ years tracking fund utilization across state and federal sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report APD expenditures against budgets and fund types.
• Perform fund analysis and reconcile spending with approved budgets.
• Track expenditures by project phase and report budget status.
• Prepare, review, and process journal vouchers for APD and Expansion.
• Analyze Expansion rebate collections and expenditures.
• Reconcile rebate receivables and report cost trends.
• Monitor contract spending across multiple contracts and projects.
• Track fund utilization across state and federal sources.
• Prepare financial reports and communicate findings to management.
• Manage multiple priorities, reporting deadlines, and financial tracking activities.
