Job summary

Justworks is seeking a Manager, International Payroll Operations APAC to lead payroll strategy and execution across APAC and other international jurisdictions. You will steward a regional team, optimize systems, and partner with Product to scale payroll solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in global payroll, tax compliance, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on scalable, compliant payroll operations and successful collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in international payroll operations, specifically within the EOR, PEO, or HR Tech space.
• 2+ years of experience managing a regional or international payroll team.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements across multiple APAC countries.
• Proven experience in leveraging and optimizing payroll software and global platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex data analysis and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and execution of payroll and payroll tax operations across APAC and international jurisdictions.
• Manage a high-performing regional team and partner with Product teams to automate payroll solutions.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure seamless invoicing and escalate complex payroll inquiries.
• Provide internal payroll expertise and strategic guidance to cross-functional partners.
