Job summary

Symetra is seeking a Customer Operations Representative who will review and process financial and non-financial activities for active Deferred Annuity products, including withdrawals, transfers, and setting up recurring payments. You will contact external customers and agents to gather information to complete transactions.

You will work with tax rules, IRA vs non-IRA, and understand how different requests affect tax events, while delivering customer-centric service that supports their financial

Qualifications

• Experience in call center or operations
• Strong customer service orientation, including interpersonal skills
• Clear communicator professionally in writing, on the phone, and in person
• Understanding of processes and procedures for Deferred Annuity products
• Organized with outstanding follow-up skills
• Ability to manage responsibilities and conflicting priorities concurrently
• Ambitious and motivated to research answers, learn quickly, and retain information
• Self-motivated and inclined to take initiative
