Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development with a strong back-end focus (Java and/or NodeJS).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise contexts.
• Hands-on Angular experience with API integration and front-end components.
• Proficiency in Java/JavaScript/TypeScript, API design, data transformation, and error handling.
• Cloud experience on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch) and containerization.
• Strong Git/GitHub skills and experience with CI/CD in a DevOps setup.
• Experience with unit/integration testing (JUnit/Jest) and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Ability to work with distributed teams, clear communication, and stakeholder alignment.
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based web dashboard processing healthcare EDI transactions.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI records.
• Integrate with internal APIs, data services, and EDI pipelines for live/historical data.
• Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end and ensure accurate data presentation.
• Collaborate with C#/.NET and AWS data engineers to define API contracts and data delivery.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews; perform unit/integration tests.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of back-end services on AWS.
• Promote Agile best practices and use Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
