Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Android development.
• Deep expertise in Android SDK development and third‑party SDKs.
• Experience with real-time communication technologies (WebRTC, SIP, RTP) preferred.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin in addition to C++.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and mobile build pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own Android SDK architecture, implementation, and long-term direction.
• Own Android SDK backlog and architectural roadmap.
• Lead Android Voice and Video SDKs development and maintenance.
• Drive build pipeline stability and CI/CD migration.
• Define Android best practices and be the go-to Android resource across the organization.
• Collaborate with iOS, JavaScript, and React Native SDK teams for cross‑platform convergence.
• Conduct thorough code reviews ensuring quality and test coverage.
• Partner with product and platform leads to evaluate feasibility and roadmap delivery.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation to reduce single points of failure.
• Adapt to evolving Android ecosystem to maximise engineering efficiency.
