Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an experienced Android developer to build and maintain production-grade mobile apps for enterprise and customer-facing services. You will work on Kotlin-based apps, leverage Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, and modern Android libraries to deliver fast, reliable experiences for our moving marketplace.

This remote role requires living in Phoenix, AZ, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android Jetpack libraries
• Experience with modular app architecture and scalable code organization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and secure data handling

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full mobile app development lifecycle.
• Develop, test, and deploy UI, service, and data tiers for complex apps.
• Code, debug, test, and maintain apps.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of apps.
• Maintain, support, troubleshoot, monitor and optimize mobile apps.
• Collaborate with IT teams on quality software solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews of code.
