Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Analytics Specialist Solution Engineer (Tableau) to support the Consumer Business Services vertical. You will drive technical sales, demonstrate analytics-based value, and partner with Sales, Product, and Professional Services to deliver data-driven business outcomes.

The role requires experience with Tableau/BI tools, SQL, and modern data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks. Travel to client sites is possible; hybrid work is supported near East Coast offices.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of SE, consulting, or analytics/BI experience.
• Hands-on experience across multiple Tableau products or equivalent BI breadth; familiarity with dashboarding and self-service analytics.

Responsibilities

• Align innovative solutions to technology challenges within CBS accounts; partner with clients and internal teams to drive multi-product tech solutions focusing on Analytics portfolio.
• Handle business development, operations strategy, and product demonstrations as a trusted advisor for innovative solutions.
• Define ambiguous business problems through research, drive ideas, and recommend practical next steps.
• Focus client decision-making by evaluating solutions and building decision frameworks for ongoing value.
• Demonstrate connected, data-driven experiences through demos and rapid prototyping with Salesforce and Tableau.
