Job summary

LangChain is expanding its data team and seeks an analytics engineer to help our business units diagnose issues, uncover opportunities, and drive success with data. You will build scalable data infrastructure and empower teams with actionable insights, supporting growth across our platform and customers.

Location options include SF, NYC, Boston, or Remote U.S. You will work across data ingestion to self-serve analytics, partnering with product and sales to quantify performance and inform

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar.
• Strong proficiency with BigQuery, dbt, Hex, Fivetran, and Segment.
• Detail oriented, capable of data spelunking and synthesizing insights.
• Curiosity and business sense to drive meaningful recommendations.
• Startup-minded and thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
• Self-directed and proactive in making an impact.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable dbt models and context to describe our business metrics and power self-serve analytics.
• Expand and maintain our foundational data stack – Fivetran, dbt, BigQuery, Hex.
• Ingest data from Salesforce, Stripe, Metronome, Postgres, and more into BigQuery.
• Create dashboards tracking progress against KPIs and company goals.
• Analyze product usage and operational data to surface insights on health, adoption, and revenue.
• Translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
