Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is seeking an experienced Amazon Connect professional to own call routing, flows, queues, and quick connects across our contact centers. You will develop Node.js/TypeScript services with AWS Lambda, CDK, S3, and DynamoDB to power scalable Connect solutions.

You’ll also help modernize the platform by evaluating legacy tooling, while contributing to front‑end tooling in Vue.js/Nuxt.js and maintaining strong CI/CD and security practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and managing Amazon Connect call flows, queues, routing profiles, and quick connects.
• Strong AWS experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, and related services.
• Front-end and back-end integration with Vue.js/Nuxt.js or React/Angular welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Own call routing & flows: build, modify, and troubleshoot Amazon Connect flows, queues, routing profiles, and quick connects.
• Build AWS serverless apps: develop Node.js/TypeScript services with Lambda, CDK, S3, DynamoDB.
• Support platform modernization: evaluate and migrate legacy tooling to native AWS options.
• Contribute to front‑end tooling: update internal contact center admin app (Vue.js/Nuxt.js).
• Embed quality & reliability: implement automated tests, CI/CD, security and operability best practices.
• Mentor & collaborate: share Connect expertise and review designs/code with teammates.
